Garrett from GIAC is has been well
known for his programming talent. This is what happens when
he decides to improve another tuner's kit. The rev. limiter
was raised to 7000 to help drivability. Next, some air fuel
and timing changes along with the rev. limiter increase resulted
in a 30-50 HP increase at 6300 and up. Midrange torque
really improved and smoothed out between 3500-5500 RPM with a
maximum realized 20 ft-lbs gain in the central region. The
owner of this car responded after a quick road test, "what a
difference!".
