E30 M3

A customer brought in his 1988 E30 M3 that he had just purchased for some baseline dyno testing.  The new owner was under the impression the car had an aftermarket chip in it already (he even had the stock chip in hand) but we soon found out that the curve matched the shape of the stock one!  Well, it was an ideal opportunity to install the ol' GIAC chip.  The results were very pleasing to the owner.  We found an additional 7-12 HP across the board with many areas that showed 15-17 ft-lb gains.  The GIAC curves were much, much smoother too :)

Needless to say, the customer called back the next day just to say that the new power was phenomenal!
