Overcammed 2.5L ?

Here is an example of a 2.5 L that we felt to be over-cammed.  This 2.5 L came to us putting out decent HP, 183 HP @ the wheels, but, the torque at the wheels registered a measily 150 ft-lbs which is basically close to what "chipped" 2.3 L's can put out.  The IS 2.5 L that we tuned was spinning the rollers to the tune of  167 rear wheel ft-lbs.  We managed to use what we knew about these engines to find an additional 8 ft-lbs at the wheels at peak and more than 15+ ft-lbs in some areas.  Again, this car came to us already with one of the more popular chips.  We far exceeded that chips results.  Tuning does work.
