DSR's Own E30 M3
This is an example of what the all mighty
2.5 L S14 can do when the engine build is well thought out.
Bascially, all of the parts must work together: compression, cams,
porting, chip, rod ratio etc. This car is amazingly mild on the
street and is a daily driver, not an all out DM racer! Stock header
is in place. Idle is better than stock. But, just a squeeze of
the ol' throttle, hang on baby! Check out the power differences
versus a bone stock 2.3 L. Our DSR street car has almost 30 more
ft-lbs of torque at peak and close to 55 more peak HP at the rear wheels!!
In some areas, power differences far exceed even those large values.
Gains span across the board. This car will easily out accelerate an
E36 M3 everywhere! And, that ain't bad. Throw in the GC
suspension kit with camber/caster plates, ahhh forget about it!
